Dr. Susheela explained, medical professionals in the few countries where fluoridation still occurs (Canada, U.S., Britain, Australia, Ireland) are not trained to know about, test for, diagnose or treat fluoride toxicity. Dr. Susheela, on the other hand, has studied this for over 35 years.
Yet Councillor Tovey wishes to waste more taxpayer money on hearing again from pro-F policy-pusher Dr. Myron Allukian who already presented to Council at their expensive & illegally-closed day-long January meeting that they chose to end 1.5 hours early.
It’s common knowledge now that the industrial grade chemical the Region uses is literally toxic waste containing not only ‘deadly’ fluoride but arsenic and lead (there’s no safe level of either) and that neither Councillor Tovey, Allukian, the Region, the province or Health Canada can provide proper studies to prove their ‘safe and effective claims’. Wasting more time & money while residents continue to be illegally mass medicated with useless toxins would be beyond obscene.
Note that in 1998, health authorities in the U.K. decided NOT to expand fluoridation after spending 8.5 hours in consultation with Dr. Susheela. She was scheduled to talk to them for 2 hours (contrast that with the 10 minutes originally allotted by Peel’s F committee!).
They were so interested in and appreciative of her expertise that they went for coffee after her presentation. Then dinner. Talking and talking the whole time. They extended their time with her by 6.5 hours, going until 11pm. Imagine that, health authorities that actually wanted to be educated and do the right thing, rather than desperately cling to their outdated beliefs that were never supported by science in the first place.
