Just red herring excuses and a citation re animal torture/murder

According to someone at the Cleveland Clinic:
“Staph infections spread in the ways that other infections spread, through coughs and sneezes, as well as other ways… Food poisoning…”
According to someone at the CDC, simply sharing towels and being around patients are risk factors for serious staph infections.
CDC and other sources also state that “Staph infections are caused by several different types of staph germs”. Isn’t that like saying “crowds of people are caused by different types of people”? Logically there doesn’t seem to be any point to such a statement.
But illogically it could accomplish someone’s goal of implying that staphylococci initiate health problems.
FOIA communications with CDC and Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry
I filed a freedom of information request with the CDC and Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) seeking all studies – authored by anyone, anywhere, ever – in the possession, custody or control of CDC and/or ATSDR (which includes downloaded studies) that:
used purified staphylococcus bacterial cultures to scientifically prove or provide evidence of causation of any type of illness or death.
As always, I emphasized that I seek allsuch records held by these agencies regardless of whether they were authored by someone working there or elsewhere, and that if such records are held and are already publicly available, I require citations.

Confession from Roger Andoh, acting as CDC /ATSDR FOIA Officer, Office of the Chief Operating Officer: no records.
Roger went on to quote some irrelevant / red herring comments from an entity referred to as “Program”, shown below (not in the same order as in the letter).
Red herring #1:
“Such studies in humans would be unethical and inconsistent with HHS Policy for Protection of Human Research Subjects.”
This is irrelevant because the request is not specific to studies in humans. The request made no mention of humans.
Red herring #2:
“CDC does not commonly conduct such animal studies as they are generally funded by NIH.”
This is irrelevant because the request is not specific to studies conducted by/at the CDC. As noted above, I specifically asked for all studies authored by anyone, anywhere, in the possession, custody or control of the CDC or ATSDR.
Red herring #3:
“Further understanding of recent advances in the humanization of such animal (mouse) models can be gleaned from: Zheng P, Liu F, Long J, et al. (2023) Latest Advances in the Application of Humanized Mouse Model for Staphylococcus aureus. J. Infect. Dis.”
This is irrelevant because, based on the title and abstract of the cited pay-walled study, it is not an experimental study demonstrating harm from staphylococcus but a review of “latest advances” in the “humanization” of mouse models – which is not what I requested.
Red herring #4:
“such studies are commonly performed in animal models, an example of which includes the following reference: Ludwig N, Thörner-van Almsick J, Mersmann S, et al. (2023) Nuclease activity and protein A release of Staphylococcus aureus clinical isolates determine the virulence in a murine model of acute lung infection.”
Roger had already confessed that the CDC holds no records matching the request. And so “Program” could only cite a study that “the experts” at CDC had never even bothered to obtain a copy of.
And apparently “Program” could only cite an unnatural study with an animal-torture/sacrifice design involving among other things the intentional injection of 600,000,000 colony forming units of S. aureus per mouse, which tells us nothing about what happens in natural conditions (including injuries).
“mice were anesthetized by intraperitoneal injection of ketamine (125 μg/g body weight, Pfizer), and xylazine (12.5μg/g body weight, Bayer). The trachea was exposed, and 50 μl of the S. aureus suspension (6×10^8 CFUs/mouse in PBS) or vehicle control were administered via a 29-gauge needle…. After 4 h or 24 h respectively, mice were sacrificed…”
