Ontario municipalities publishing fraudulent dental fluorosis statistics

The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit has published a fraudulent dental fluorosis statistic in their Oral Health Report 2018 Update (pgs 29, 35).

Their statistic is based on kindergarten children even though these children are too young to assess for dental fluorosis, a visible biomarker for fluoride toxicity that develops prior to eruption during tooth formation.

In these children the required indicator teeth have not yet erupted from their gums. Reporting ‘no moderate or severe dental fluorosis‘ in these children is like reporting that 0% of children who refuse to open their mouths have gum disease since you can’t see any gum disease in their mouths.

This is blatant scientific fraud supporting the comprehensive consumer fraud required to keep the unlawful practice of water fluoridation going in Ontario.

And the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit is not alone in publishing such illogical, grossly misleading data.

The Region of Peel used to sensibly publish dental fluorosis statistics for children aged 7 and up and provide a breakdown by age.  But after at least 2 Peel reports indicated alarming rates of dental fluorosis, Peel Public Health started leaving dental fluorosis out of their ‘comprehensive‘ reports altogether (see slides 6 – 10 and 16 for details).  Demands for updated data (slide 16) lead to the release of their fraudulent 2017 statistic (pg 61) based on JK, SK, and grade 2 students.

How many other Ontario municipalities are publishing similarly deceptive dental fluorosis statistics, and what role has the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care played in this fiasco?

FFP has brought this matter to the attention of those whose email addresses are listed below.  Let’s hope that someone in public service will investigate and that those responsible at both the municipal and provincial levels will be held accountable.
